Associate Scheme

The Society operates an Associate Society scheme with several nations. The purpose is to allow those nations to run their own national sheepdog club, whilst being united with the ISDS and receiving benefits of dog registration in the ISDS Stud Book.

Associate Members have full rights to register dogs in the Stud Book.  Some clubs operate a local language registration office to help members.

If you live in the nations listed here we ask if you would kindly click on the link for a web site or email address and apply for membership to that club's secretary. For most Associate Society schemes the ISDS will not accept individual overseas memberships; there are some exceptions and you should check when following the link below.

01 April : Dutch members are encouraged to join or renew via. the Associate Club, the DSDS, but membership is available by direct application to the ISDS office.

Belgium and Hungary join the ISDS

06 February: The ISDS welcomes these two nations as they join from 2008.  The ISDS has made a statement regarding the entries for Belgium to the Land Rover 2008 World Sheep Dog Trials.
